Error Control

What are Parity Cards?
Parity Cards are little cards like in the picture above. In the one above, there were rows of 8 by 8. We had to make sure the black cards and the white cards were even. If they weren't, we flipped them. When we played the game above, if there were an odd amount of black cards, we would flip the card at the bottom so it would be black and there was an even amount of black cards. For the first row there is two black cards, which is even. For the next one there was five blacks cards which was odd, so I flipped the bottom one so then there was six cards (even.) If there was an error in the cards, we could break it down and find the error by going row by row until we came across the mistake.
